You don't need a "financial literacy class" (such a class does not exist, fyi) to know that you should spend less than you make.

Stop acting like rich and poor people are playing by the same rules. The game is heavily rigged to favor the wealthy. Rich people go to the best colleges and get the best jobs. Sure there are exceptions, but social mobility isnt as easy/simple as you make it out to be.

Every year there are more rich people and less impoverished people. In what sense is what you say accurate? Which reality do you live in where the statistics are saying the exact opposite thing?
