It is probably sensible to be wary of curriculum that is geared toward promoting activism, rather than educating with knowledge and skills. But, as I recall, one of the primary pillars of postmodernism is to question learned and established knowledge and ways of learning (like the scientific method) and replacing them with individual narratives (lived experiences).


That's not modern. That's caveman level logic.

it sounds like some red pill thing, but it was written by a gender studies major....


So, that's why they say feminism is cancer (yes, I know cancer isn't a viral infection. The metaphor is it spreads malignantly).

But yes, it does seem like the goal of classes like Women's Studies hasn't been to just educate, but to produce activists and "progressive" minded people who will take their activism into othrt fields.
