He was found guilty (i.e. liable) in civil court, which was the reason he was bankrupted and at the point of needing to steal memorabilia at gunpoint for cash. He was taking property that belonged to him. He never had a gun during the fiasco and one of the victims spoke out that he should be paroled and thought he should of served a maximum of 3 years. Other victim reaches out too but passed away a couple years ago so it was an older letter.
