One area where automation is going to happen faster is with trucks used in mining operations. This is what I am talking about This is exactly what I mean when I say that automation can provide everyone with a universal basic income. Businesses owners will just pocket the profit from the savings and they'll just flee the country if UBI is instated. What if every country had UBI? No where else to flee They'll start their own country! With blackjack! And hookers! and a banking system, they're going to need that... oh and they'll probably end up getting sanctioned by every other country and having their assets frozen. So they won't be able to do anything but sit on their island or whatever without being able to import anything.
