| Polycosm 07/20/17 7:08:20 AM #4: | Violence is a good pick, imo, but it requires some stipulations. Ecosystems (or more specifically, the food chain) depend on a certain level of violence. I'm tempted to say "ignorance," yet I love the pursuit of knowledge and would miss it if we were all-knowledgeable. "Irrationality" seems like another solid choice, except I've never really subscribed to the Objectivist notions of romance and art appreciation. I have a sentimental attachment to certain inexplicable emotions and swings in body chemistry. Maybe "entropy," in the sense that it's an unstoppable march towards disorder which will eventually unravel everything that "life" is working towards. --- BKSheikah owned me so thoroughly in the 2017 guru contest, I'd swear he used the Lens of Truth to pick his bracket.
