Man I'm conflicted.

Got an interview offer at a much closer school than the one I already accepted/contracted with. This is a much bigger school (so bigger class sizes) and a higher salary (about 9k more, though I don't know the benefits package yet so the difference may close a bit).

But, like I said, I'm contracted with another school already. And I really like their program. And I'd only have, like, 24 kids max in a class. And I don't want to wait until mid august to decide on a job so that I can start planning and moving into my classroom.

I really don't think I should do the interview.

What's the class size of the other place? That's something you gotta consider. The school you have is small so you'll know your kids well, maybe too well if that's a bad thing. But in a bigger school who knows how big your class can get or how many classes you'll have to teach?

For example if you have to teach 100 students a day that's 25x4 homework packs or assignments you have to grade. But if bigger school has you doing 30-35 x 4 that makes a big difference in extra time for you. As far as I know teachers don't get paid for corrections.
