When you're watching Rick & Morty, just remember that it's not like other shows. The show is incredibly artistic, almost to the point where you have to be paying complete attention to it to even remotely understand it. I remember watching a scene from Rick & Morty (though I can't remember what it was), where I thought it was absolute bollocks during the viewing. Then, I closed my eyes for a second, and all of a sudden the show had an entirely new meaning. It was insane the way Rick & Morty could just become something so different when you take a look into Dan Harmon's sweaty asshole.

Another thing you should note about Rick & Morty is that it's easy to get a headache watching it. Not because it's a bad show, but because of how many ideas the story is riddled with and how complex they are. Soon enough your head will fill to the brim and the rest will just sound like noise to you. Just turn it off and give it a watch the next day.

If you don't like the show, you'll definitely at least enjoy watching it, and picking apart the story itself and all of the artistic values that go into making it the complexity that it is.

I can't tell if this is real or not because R&M fanatics are insane

I love the show and yea, its probably the best animated show currently airing, but this is ridiculous

Its a well written and very clever show, but its not one that can be endlessly picked apart or has some huge deep meaning in each episode

That's a Tool copypasta
