are you counting state taxes or something?

i'm pretty sure you stop paying social security taxes after something like 120k, and if you're making 120k or less you're in the 28% tax bracket (effective tax rate is lower, since you only pay 28% on the money above 91)

i may just be failing at math here, but how did you get to 47?
