I'll echo what other posters have said about being more forward, quicker to express direct interest, and knowing when to walk away. Just to normalize what you are going through *cough cough* I've met a few girls like this too.. that want an e-relationship, without even wanting to call it that (including the pretend physical intimacy). I'm not sure any of them are ready to move beyond that stage though - and this isn't to blame them, everybody has their own story as to why they seek certain things and not others.
