Proto Man's femise is pretty much spelled out in his ending to one of the arcade games, as is the vague hint at Bass'. The game also gives us the first sneak peeks at X and Zero, though X's portion is only a few lines of brainstorming and not even a picture or blueprints or whatever. Mega Man's comes from Mega Man II from the GameBoy, but presumably we were just supposed to psychically know it (maybe the game manual mentioned it?) until Mega Man and Bass came out and gave us this information in one of its CD's. It's kind of an off-the-wall source so a lot of people doubt it, but Rockman & Forte: Challenger from the Future confitms via ingame dialog. The villain from that game may have also been a future Mega Man, but it's kind of unclear and seems to depend on which character you play as. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
