The Americans gunned them down using crossfire tactics by the thousands. Bodies littered beaches at Guadalcanal and Tenaru. The US lost 80 men at Tenaru; Japan lost 800. They fought like fucking bozos; they simply had conquered so much because all their wars up to that point were against pissant countries.
