Whole situation's fucked up. The tough evil words on the internet sound good but you don't know how it is when this shit really happens. t's not about blind vengeance. I live in an area with lots of rough dudes. My friend had a chance to get this guy while he waits for his trial cuz he found out where the guy works. I think he decided not to.
The guy has his own family and it wasn't as intentional. Vengeance like that isn't what you want in such a sad tragic situation for all parties. Yes they killed a loved one but at the same time you also have to see their perspective. It was manslaughter, not murder. Shit's just fucked up.
What are you talking about? Most of us aren't saying he should be burned alive. Just put into prison where he can't hurt anyone else due to his MULTIPLE cases is stupidity. I don't know how you think your friend killing the person in cold blood is even remotely comparable. No one is saying illegal murder from a third party is anywhere close to a solution. Furthermore, speaking of multiple cases, sounds like you're forgetting this guy has multiple DUI cases and is known for selling drugs. Clearly this isn't any minor mistake, and probably would do it again if he didn't get caught.
Additionally, don't think you're the only one who lost someone to drunk driving. I have a cousin who was just going home from her job at Disney and was killed because of a drunk driver. I'm not going to pay a hitman to kill him, but fuck yes do I think the guy deserves to stay in prison so he won't fuck up the lives of dozens of people because he got shitfaced.
