Let me know what you think, ok?

Okay!

Here's what I think. I think that like other social trends, some of this is here to stay and some of it isn't. So the short answer is yes you have to adjust to this. Get used to it, grandpa. But just like with hipster poser gays in the late 90s early 00s this to will level out. Once people get used to it, they'll stop giving a shit, and when they stop giving a shit, people looking for an obnoxious fashion statement will have to co-opt something else.

The longer answer is that we're already seeing a new wave of pushback against Tumblr snowflakes from actual trans people, people with gender dysphoria who aren't in transition for various reasons (like myself), and the genuinely intersex, basically saying that if not the entire concept of gender fluidity, then at least the way it's being acted out greatly trivializes gender dysphoria by taking a medical condition and reducing it to a fashion statement. I suspect that with a growing 'trans conservative' (for lack of a better term) voice, we'll see the pendulum swing back to a point where people will be encouraged out of respect to trans people to use the pronouns most expedient to the group unless absolutely necessary.
