More likely it is something that falls under the umbrella of "sexual assault" but is not really rape, like maybe fondling and rubbing against him. But the source just sees "sexual assault" and translates it to "rape" because they can technically get away with it. (I still think 7 years is too low but that's typical in a lot of places.) And they say "had his sentence reduced" when what probably happened is he was granted parole. You know, the same way any criminal has a chance of parole for a crime? Again, 7 years is too low, but having a chance at parole 4 years in is perfectly fair and everyone has a chance for it. I mean, I don't know the particulars of the case, but I'll bet this source is horribly distorting them to sound as horrible as possible.
