Actually, quick question, I once saw a "how it's done" video for laser eye surgery that involved this sliding-scalpel thing cutting off the top layer of 'skin' (forgot the technical term, let's just go with that for now) of your eye so the laser has access: Do they still do that or has the technique evolved to where it's no longer necessary? no skin was cut in my surgery, my eye was kept open with some clamp thing and the laser does its job ...
