Illegal stop, runs persons name finds separate warrants performs the search enforcing the other warrant.

A new crime and the search wouldn't be valid but 5he cop is just enforcing an already standing warrant and that's the probable cause for the search.

You can't tell a cop he can't enforce a warrant. I don't know what a good way to handle situation.


It's not a warrant for a search it's a warrant for an arrest. An arrest warrant doesn't give cops the right to search your entire house. For illegal things. A warrant specifically for searching is what allows that.
