Depends on what kind of waifu mechanics are worked in. Hyrule Warriors worked items in, it wouldn't surprise me if they do something with supports. Dynasty Warriors 4 or 5 (or maybe Empires or something... one of them) introduced a 2-player thing where if you were playing Co-op, you could team up with your partner and both use your musou abilities at the same time and it would turn into a double super ultra musou thing that mostly wildly missed and didn't really do much but it looked flashy cool.
