Sticking your head in the sand isn't doing you any favors. As for the second part, is that a serious question? Massive, crushing guilt. If she had contacted her at any point in those five years, this wouldn't have happened. But she didn't and she witnessed a girl get shot right in front of her. She doesn't even recognize that it was her best friend.
