Like, it boggles my mind that people support a leader who doesn't at least have the decorum to say nothing in the public arena and plot quietly in the Situation Room like he's supposed to.

yeah, that's the big takeaway from that tweet. that's such a normal statement that once you realize it's given to a psycho world leader nobody likes it's a bit surprising. talking shit that directly isn't done too often but that isn't going to hurt him. opposite really, it's something most everyone thinks, it's just odd to see it a major power basically call a world leader a shit in such a normal way.

his shitposting probably doesn't do anything in either direction. everything you're seeing now is due to health care.
and if they seriously try to make medicaid optional, that will backfire so hard people will actually start to learn the legislation and push for more of it. while the south has resisted the medicaid expansion they're finally starting to accept it. even Kansas just a few months ago almost passed it - they were 3 votes shy of overriding a veto.

if you tell them that medicaid is going to be removed, that ain't gonna be an issue next time.
