I don't follow politics because when I'm not busy studying or doing schoolwork I would rather workout, socialize, have fun, etc.

My downtime is already limited and would rather avoid negativity. But I'm still told I'm part of the problem because I don't follow politics or follow what's going on around the world.

For the record, I do follow what's going on around the world. Mostly in science & tech since that's my field. But since summer started, I have been exposed to more politics, and I still find it hard to make an informed decision because of all these biased news station.

I am curious to know if what I'm doing "contributes to the problems of the world". Since most of my friends who are "passionate" about social issues always seems to critics me lol.
