If the story isn't changed/affected by a characters race, it shouldn't matter what the race of the casted person is, what should matter is their acting ability. There are some characters where race is important to the character. Hitler shouldn't be played by a black man in a historical drama. But there's literally no reason MJ cant be black. The only thing people have to bitch about is "She's just always been white!" Her being white has nothing to do with her character. Race does not define who that person is, and people need to stop acting like it does. it does define the description of her physical appareance compared to the comics why peple keep repeating that as if anyone said it had anything to do with her personality ? and dont forget we arent talking about a person we are talking about a character from the comics a very old one and whos been on the spotlight in the comics for a long time and she isnt a minor character like locus (from marvel ) who was introduced as white and then changed to black (in the comics ) probably because mary jane isnt a minor character is the reason michelle isnt mary --- There is no sound, no voice, no cry in all the world that can be heard... until someone listens. <cite>marc55 posted [p:882121359] in TRIGGER WA...
