That doesn't bother me really. I mean if Joss Whedon was doing a movie about Native Americans it might not be a bad idea to actually TALK to one first before you start writing stuff.
That's called basic film making though. Has nothing to do with "diversity consultants" and everything to do with proper research when you make a film. It's film making 101.
