Yes what I said might be construed as offensive. The people around me laughed and that was my intent.

My little cousin is autistic and developmentally delayed. He's the sweetest kid on the planet. A savant when it comes to all things animals and I would trade my life for him in a heart beat.

I suppose my point is I don't find this offensive. I don't find most things offensive. I think the intent behind something matters and it's ridiculous how everything is now offensive.
