It was a call for women to be the force of change by studying hard, not giving up, and having confidence in their abilities. It acknowledged that tech is dominated by white men, but didn't disparage them for it. It was a recognition that those at the top worked hard to get where they were, and the next generation can be a force for change by working just as hard. That's not true, though.
