Y'know, all things considered, it occurs to me that Square putting FF6 on there instead of FF4 shows they're actually aware the game is more popular overseas than domestically. And yet they put Mana with no 3-player option instead of Chrono, so... Although including Mana gives me a glimmer of hope that the Seiken Densetsu collection on Switch might come to the US.
