Also if they ask for like a specific amount of change, or need money for a bus fare, I'll spare what I can since it seems like they actually need something. Like one guy asked if I had 65 cents, he needed some bus pass. I get asked for change way too much to part with every person I see. It's like I give money to one guy, walk down the block, someone else asks and I can't give them any since I already gave it away. Feels kinda unfair to the 2nd person. How the hell can you judge who needs it more? I don't lose any sleep over this shit with the way I go about it now. If they need help, there are resources out there. And I'm glad to point them in that direction, but 90% of the time they don't want to put in the effort. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
