I was referring to the people in this topic that are making $800 a month or $8 an hour. $18 an hour is like $2k take home a month. And you clearly don't understand how expensive some areas are if you think $18 is plenty.
And you don't understand that those expensive areas don't somehow make my statement false... It's sufficient for way more areas in America than not.
It kinda does since you didn't qualify it by mentioning those areas. You go live alone in SF on $2k a month and tell me how you're doing.
No it doesn't, shouldn't need to add qualifiers for a small percentage, that should be a given. Like 18 is fine in most of FL but you can't live on Star Island. I obviously shouldn't need to say that. And it would be stupid to live somewhere with a radically higher cost of living than the rest of the country if you can't afford it. Always eyeroll at people who run out to LA with no prospects then are tragically shocked when they discover they can't support themselves there.
You should learn how to clearly express yourself instead of blaming others when you say the wrong things. When you say $18 is enough to survive off of alone without being in poverty I read that as you thinking $18 is enough to survive off of alone without being in poverty. $18 is enough to survive off of alone without being in poverty, except when it's not, is a completely different statement. Do better next time.
