Tywin – Untargetable Scan Skull****er. SOUNDS SUPER SCARY OOOOO. But…actually not at all. I designed this so the name would sound way more scary than what he could actually do. It was meant to flip and cause you to think about each and every innocent/clearing scan you had. Didn’t really help he was the last to go, but hey that’s fine. He could reverse one cop scan, one tracker, one watch, and one prosty scan. The prosty scan was 100% useless. The watch was worse than useless, as he’d show up on the person he was targeting instead so you were really just swapping one scum for another. Both the track and cop flips could in fact be useful, but it would require them to target the person the cop/tracker was also targeting at the same time as the flip only lasted for the night. A ton of guesswork, and I anticipated them just missing with these (and they did). Even if they did hit I wouldn’t feel bad, as once this role flipped you should be questioning all scans so it basically required this person to 1) have some incredible guessing skills and 2) stay alive for the duration of the game for it to be really effective. And the untargetable bit was a way to prevent truly damning scans from the scanners, but still throw suspicion his way if he was targeted. I mean, yeah the cop scanned him day 1 and then spent the entire next day trying to get him lynched anyway. Plus, while the cop/tracker/flavor scanner couldn’t get a dead to rights scan on him, other roles could get “soft” sorts of scans (Menu or Scare would be told their actions failed for example) so while not as damning as a guilty scan it allowed a lot more people to get suspicious action results if he was targeted. That was my thinking, at least.
