If anything, you should be blaming Western politics, imperialism, and stupid foreign policy. Those things are huge factors. They are the biggest ones. But it should not be ignored that climate change is leading to greater resource instability which exacerbates the situation. Bangladesh is only one other country. Heck, the US is going to have its own issues with large population displacement in the southeast before the end of the century.
