it is an important factor in how things proceeded. It's not the only factor. But it will not be the only region or country facing serious issues and having a large population emigrating due to the effects of climate change.

The U.S. government even supports climate change as something that can cause a region to destabilize, and factor for mass migration. Bernie Sanders talked about it in his campaign. Shouldn't be new to anyone.

Sure, it's a known fact that extreme heat can cause people to be more violent. It's also quite convenient for governments to be pushing that as a cause for destabilization when anyone with half a brain knows that the middle east would probably be more or less fine now had we not invaded Iraq and then left it in shambles
