fwiw there is a not-zero possibility that when someone is put on the spot like that they say yes even though they arent actually there yet, but know they are on the way to that point (which is why they don't respond with frustration/anger/whatever)

i do not recommend bringing it up again or making a point of it to say it nonstop

instead i recommend some sort of romantic gesture that shows your appreciation for her.
