Travel agencies are a good idea for something like an all inclusive trip. They can help with a lot and that's where they can give you good deals!

cool, thanks for the heads up. i'll definitely be looking into it.

i'm looking at some in costa rica that are about $3600-$4600 for ocean view suites for 7 days and that includes airfare.

which imo isn't terrible.

That seems insane to me. You have to also take in to consideration that food and alcohol outside of America is insanely cheap. You may find going grocery shopping on your first day will save you a grand or so then if it was an all inclusive. I recently went to a place outside of Mexico and a 12 pack of Corona was around $3 and a jug of Bacardi was around $12.

i mean this is including airfare.

i'd rather pay more to stay on a bomb ass all inclusive on the ocean where people serve me shit than get some hotel somewhere and buy a jug of bacardi. i can buy a jug of bacardi and drink it in my living room.
