Adjust your expectations and don't get distracted by a logo people. The real Metroid is on 3DS. A new team is working on it. We don't know what it is, but Nintendo seems confident enough to put the project into new hands instead of an established team. It happened with Breath of the Wild and most people absolutely love that game. Also, if you're gonna play that card, the Metroid 2 Remake is being made by Mercury Steam and they don't exactly have a good track record.
