They either forgot or didn't know why Dead Rising 1 and 2 were good, and it's not massacring tons of zombies with overpowered weapons. Not that it can't recover, as Resident Evil (arguably) did with 7. --- The only fool bigger than the person who knows it all is the person who argues with him. They're all complacent sheeple.
