The game is really easy (assuming you're playing on normal difficulty) even without Permadeath and it's balanced on the assumption that you're playing to try not to get anyone killed. Even as a newcomer, you shouldn't have too much difficulty with permadeath on. --- Kill 1 man: You are a murderer. Kill 10 men: You are a monster. Kill 100 men: You are a hero.
