| Topic | Swedish man convicted of liking something on Facebook |
| streamofthesky 06/06/17 2:05:46 AM #5: | That's really fucked up. I thought it was going to be something possibly reasonable, such as liking a comment that advocates for murdering all of [insert ethnic group] or similarly incendiary. But no, just for liking stuff calling some guy a racist who "was convicted under anti-racism laws nearly 20 years ago," and being unable to "prove that the comments he liked were truthful." What the actual fuck? Shouldn't the burden be reasonable doubt / not guilty to avoid being convicted, not outright proving your innocence? That court's ruling and burden of proof is almost as indefensibly unjust and ridiculous as the moderators on this site! ... Copied to Clipboard! |
