We should stay in because we are (were) a global leader and it is good to set a precedent / example for everyone else on important issues. Yes, symbolic agreements do matter.

It considers China a developing nation who has no obligation to lower their emissions until 2030 while giving them access to a pool of money that is expected to be paid into by developed nations. On the other hand it wouldn't really matter if they were expected to lower their emissions, since the deal has zero enforcement mechanisms anyways.
But that doesn't matter compared to symbolic leadership over a meaningless deal.
Exactly, you can't provide a good reason to leave while I did provide one to stay.
