Since nobody will tell me a single reason why we should stay in; I'm going to stop caring about China and start laughing my ass off at leftist chicken littles who think the sky is falling. Ha ha take that liberals. We should stay in because we are (were) a global leader and it is good to set a precedent / example for everyone else on important issues. Yes, symbolic agreements do matter. Now you give a reason why we should have left it. There isn't one. Trump even lied to you about the reason (jobs) It considers China a developing nation who has no obligation to lower their emissions until 2030 while giving them access to a pool of money that is expected to be paid into by developed nations. On the other hand it wouldn't really matter if they were expected to lower their emissions, since the deal has zero enforcement mechanisms anyways.
