It's a Liberal Arts college. The base level of intelligence required to attend is a chequebook.

That said, I still don't agree. I think it's a mistake to ruin people's lives forever because they had an unpopular dumb opinion when they were a kid. And it's a terrible message to send to people.

"don't communicate, don't explain why bad ideas are bad, just punish, humiliate and destroy all contrarians!" is a bad philosophy and short-sighted. In my eyes anyway
