You'll seldom see people getting obese eating baked chicken breast or grilled fish. The hard truth is that fast food and many restaurants sell food that is extremely unhealthy, calorie dense, and not particularly nutritious.

You actually do see a lot of people getting fat off baked chicken... well, barbecued, grilled, etc, which is similar enough. And fish consumption in the US wasn't high back when Americans were thinner. Actually, the fish consumption TODAY is far higher than back in the 1950s (by around 33%) so, if we're using your logic, maybe the fish consumption is driving up weight gain >_>

Why do you think so many men and women are overweight or obese nowdays. Seriously, guys especially are gross looking and eat so much junk-- unclean diets and sugar addiction run rampant with your average american.

Sedentary lifestyle combined with over-consumption. The sugar claims are mostly garbage and, to drive home the importance of caloric intake vs energy expenditure, we've had quite a few people lose weight while mostly eating at McDonald's.

So much misinformation, as expected from a FWL. Grilled chicken breast in and of itself is quite healthy, has very few calories, and is full of protein (just as grilled fish does). When people start adding garbage like buttery sauces, fry it, bread, etc. that's when they get fat off of it.

The sugar claims are not "mostly garbage"-- there are various studies that demonstrate how addictive sugar is, and the effects it has on various hormone release mechanisms to promote fat storage.

You seem to think that I made a point against calories in versus out-- I'm aware of people who've lost weight eating sugar, but that is not a healthy way to lose weight (no nutrition + all the wonderful side effects that come along with consuming so much sugar).

>Doesn't understand calories
>Talks about misinformation

What exactly have I said that makes you think that I don't "understand calories."

Can't expect much more of a FWL propagandist.
