| Alexandra_Trent 05/30/17 3:25:36 PM #15: | For me, personally, I won't like it. The point of spending time with one another is......well, SPENDING TIME WITH ONE ANOTHER. Not with some electronic contraption. As a person who's always on her phone due to work, (emails and arranging client meetings etc etc), I know how hectic a schedule can be. There are times you literally can not get away from work. But there are limits. If I were on a date I'd assume I had especially planned the time and place, hence there'd be no reason for me or him to be fiddling with the phone. I find it extremely inconsiderate if a person started texting or just browsing in front of me. The environment would just feel distant, devoid of warmth and very impersonal. Each person made an effort to show up on that date; the least any one of them can do is be "present" during that time. --- "Ladies don't start fights, but they can finish them." -Marie, Aristocats ...
