Just to remind you: If you're running for president of the fucking United States and a leading contender you ARE in the public eye 24/7. The claim that Sanders wasn't in the public eye is absurd, especially given that it happened during a debate which probably had more viewers than this meeting.

Granted, after trying to look more into the whole context, the ONLY videos I seem to see are from alt-left news sites -- like Heavy.com and OccupyDemocrats -- rather than any legitimate source so I'm beginning to wonder if the whole thing wasn't faked. After all, CNN and others would have seized on it if it was legit because it perfectly fits their narrative. That said, whether he did or didn't do it, I see no reason to take offense or why anybody would take it as more than a playful gesture.

Further, I love how you're trying to fucking spin Obama doing that as being unintentional. He smiles RIGHT as he switches between scratching fingers. Even if he had been using both fingers to scratch then switched to the middle one only that would be a stretch.

Didn't see this until now.

Unless I'm mistaken, I never said they wouldn't be in the public eye 24/7. However, you seem to have misinterpreted my post about Bernie Sanders. I meant that he's now no-longer in the public eye 24/7, since leaving the election. At the time, yes, he was certainly in the public eye.

What do you mean "the whole thing wasn't faked?" There's a video of him clearing using his middle finger to do whatever. Whether or not it was just a subconscious scratch of the head or gesture to Paolo, we might never know.

Lol "CNN and others would have seized on it if it was legit because it perfectly fits their narrative." Everyone has a narrative. FOX News has a narrative. The White House has a narrative. Hell, even Erik P has a narrative.

Yeah, the leader of one country possibly giving the middle finger to the leader of another country is nothing more than "a playful gesture". It's rude and disrespectful.

I said that it's possible that Obama did it unintentionally.

And even if Barack unintentionally did it, Trump damn-well-knew what he was doing, as evident by his smug smile and previous unhappy/bored misdemeanor.

And here too:

Right. I know stuff happens, but hey, both Obama and Trump should know better than to do this, especially on largely-viewed events like these. If they did it unintentionally, fine, it's excused. However, you should still try to be on your best behavior.

To summarize:

Whether or not Trump and Obama did it intentionally or unintentionally, we may never know. Regardless, they should both know to act civil to others.
