I have literally never said that. I live a pretty posh life right now and definitely am not hurting for money, but I was lower-middle class growing up. I have flat out told my parents that it was irresponsible of them to have kids without even having a clear plan for how to pay for their education. It just so happened that I worked my ass off + got lucky. Personally, I do not plan to have kids until my mid-30s, and I will only do it if I know I can set them up with a private education + an ivy league degree.
