To be fair, plagiarizing or not, he managed to pull through somehow in a legal manner. However he did it, I don't think being an idiot would be the accurate way to describe him. We can complain about various businessmen/women all we want, if they got that far they're capable enough in some way or another. Or had a lot of help. Anyway, as the saying goes, "Any idiot can do it" and yet how many have managed to duplicate what was done? --- "You must gather your party before venturing forth" "Go for the eyes Boo!
