She also looks more Japanese than Chinese, to me. 27% of Richmond is Chinese, yes, but the Asian population as a whole is large in itself. I would say it was a bit silly, because they knew it was there. That's why he was filming. So to sit right at the edge is a poor choice. Also, "Chinese" would be a blanket term for their language. Like Christianity isn't really a religion. It covers Anglican, Catholic, etc. Also similar to how Chinese call us "the Americas", and don't distinguish between North, Central and South.
