The hyphen doubles a vowel in Katakana and replaces a "U" at the end of a word in Hiragana. To confirm this, I asked my girlfriend what it was called, and she said "Ha-I-Fu-N" (in Hiragana, which I can't type). Or "haifun" (HI-foon). Which, in English, is hyphen. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
