My position has always been that this list is privilege agnostic. I don't take issue with millennials for pointing out privilege, I take issue with them for using it as an excuse to be lazy or "waiting until the playing field is fair" instead of working hard and taking responsibility in a way that will still greatly benefit them today regardless. The concept of privilege is a macro issue that no individual can affect and is hard, if not impossible, to even quantify and address. This list is addresses the micro issues of improving your own life and work prospects whether privilege exists or not. You can certainly hold the view that disparities resulting from privilege or historical discrimination need to be remedied, but they have nothing to do with the validity of this list.
