| Bugmeat 05/23/17 11:54:35 PM #263: | Forged in fire has gotten kind of lame. Finalists used to make their blades from scratch with some sweet Damascus patterns. They rarely take the metal, forge it together and then draw out the blade with skill anymore. More often than not the finalists just take a big piece of flat steel, draw their blade on it, cut it out and then do some finishing work on that. Sure, it's more skill than the average person. But it's pretty lame to watch. Not impressive at all after what I got used to seeing in the first two seasons. They're really stretching for finalist projects at this point too. They went through all of the truly iconic weapons of history and are now just on to the sort of weird looking stuff that most people have never heard of. This will probably be the last season that I watch. ha21nagamas posted... Can i join this thread Sure.
