The film was doomed from the start though due to no Jason.

in my opinion at least
pam was a rather boring lead
tommy literally had all of 2 lines
reggie was a bit obnoxious
and then everyone else is just kind of meh with little personality

ethel was fun cause of how over the top she was
one of the causes of this was that apparently the writers were told that they had to have a death every 8 minutes
so most of the script is just introducing people then immediately killing them off.
