Topic	1998 is EASILY the greatest year in gaming and it's not even close

It can't do THAT much better. 1998 wins if you're into its very historic PC offerings. If you're a console guy, 2001 runs away with it. The mix of quality and quantity across genres is pretty much unrivaled.
